Canadian solo developer titolovesyou has partnered with horror-focused publisher DreadXP to bring PIGFACE, a fast-paced, ultra-violent first-person shooter, to Steam. Following a well-received combat demo on itch.io in April 2024, the full game promises an expanded experience with diverse missions, weapons, armor, and equipment.
In PIGFACE, you embody Exit, a ruthless woman with a dark past, coerced by blackmail into becoming a gun-for-hire for an even more sinister employer. The game’s narrative centers on completing high-stakes missions in a combat sandbox, earning money to purchase gear from the Black Market. You can unlock unique masks, each granting distinct abilities that allow for varied playstyles, from aggressive, guns-blazing assaults to stealthy, tactical approaches.
The game’s kinetic gameplay, blending tactical shooting with mysterious atmosphere, earned praise in its initial demo for its satisfying physics, ragdoll mechanics, and punishing difficulty.
