Indie studio Tactical Adventures has officially announced Solasta II, an ambitious sequel to their popular RPG hit inspired by tabletop games. Presented at The Game Awards event, the sequel will be available in Early Access for PC via Steam in 2025, while a demo version is expected as early as next year.

The story of the sequel is set decades after the events of Solasta: Crown of the Magister from 2021 and takes place in Neokos, a lush and vibrant continent on the brink of destruction. A sinister force, embodied in Shadwyn, a powerful and vengeful being voiced by Amelia Tyler (Baldur’s Gate 3, Hades II), spreads corruption throughout the land. In the game, we will thus form a party of adventurers to confront this threat, manage political tensions among conflicting factions, and face various enemies.

Players will once again use the D20 system to create and lead a party of four adventurers through a journey filled with strategy, magic, and intense turn-based combat. Among the new features are online co-op for up to four players and tailored gameplay for consoles. Solasta II will also allow for complete customization of party members, with each character having a voice, as well as unique abilities and skills.

The first trailer also revealed that the game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and showcased beautiful visuals and a rich fantasy world.
