Dark Point Games has announced the Early Access launch of Achilles: Survivor, a single-player bullet heaven game in the Survivors-like genre. Set in the mythological world of Achilles: Legends Untold, the game will be available on January 29, 2025, for PC via Steam at 4.99 €.
The story begins after the Trojan War, where Achilles is resurrected by Hades to serve in his divine schemes. After fulfilling Hades’ plans, Achilles defies the god of death and escapes the underworld, freeing countless souls along the way. Furious at this betrayal, Hades unleashes his legions to hunt down Achilles and the other escapees. You can step into the role of Achilles or other survivors from Tartarus, battling to survive against overwhelming odds.
Achilles: Survivor takes you back to the mythological landscapes of Greece, Troy, and Tartarus. Unlike traditional bullet heaven games, this title introduces innovative building mechanics. Yuu can construct defensive towers, healing structures, and summon allies to fight alongside you.
Each run you can choose a character, which then comes with unique combat abilities. New characters will be added over time, bringing even more variety to the game. As you progress, you unlock treasures, upgrade your characters, and gain access to new abilities, maps, and content.
