Davor Hunski is a prominent figure in the Croatian video game industry and a co-founder of the game development studio Croteam, established in 1992. He will be part of the panel titled World successes of Croatian video games.
Often referred to as the “grandfather of Croatian game development,” Hunski has been pivotal in shaping the country’s gaming scene. At Croteam, he holds the role of Chief Creative Officer (CCO) and has been instrumental in the creation of some of the studio’s most iconic titles, including the renowned Serious Sam series and the critically acclaimed philosophical puzzle game The Talos Principle.
The studio initially gained attention with smaller projects like Football Glory, but achieved international success with the release of Serious Sam in 2001. This first-person shooter became famous for its fast-paced action and technical prowess, powered by the internally developed Serious Engine.
After five successful editions of the PROFilm Days conference, the Croatian film and video game industries are merging to create a new platform for discussing current topics – Blender: Film & Games.
