Wilmot Works It Out returns the beloved square character, Wilmot, in a new series of puzzles, this time set in the comfort of home. Unlike the previous title, Wilmot’s Warehouse, which combined quick tasks and puzzles with a dose of humor, Works It Out offers a more relaxed approach. There is no rush or pressure here—just Wilmot, puzzles, and his peaceful home. The game is designed more as a creation of a homely atmosphere than as a challenge filled with complex tasks or time constraints.
At the heart of the game are classic jigsaw puzzles that will, even if you are not a puzzle lover, succeed in changing your mind. Whether it's the soothing tone of the game or the satisfaction when you complete a puzzle, Works It Out offers an experience that will truly draw you in. The puzzles come in random packages, and you assemble them piece by piece, connecting images of animals, nature, and other scenes that you can then display on the walls of your home. Sometimes you will need more deliveries to complete the pictures, as pieces overlap or arrive later.

The aesthetics of the game are cheerful, and besides placing pictures on the wall, you can also decorate Wilmot's home, even adopt a pet, and enjoy relaxing music. All elements of the game are focused on creating a cozy atmosphere, and it succeeds better than many similar titles. Although the gameplay is simple, we meet the mail carrier Sam, who regularly delivers puzzle packages and with whom Wilmot can talk about everyday topics like her vacation.
Each puzzle comes with a different theme, size, and level of challenge, but you can always solve them at your own pace. However, it quickly becomes quite repetitive, as some puzzles are a bit more tedious than others, especially after playing for a longer time. Nevertheless, the charm of this title is that you keep coming back to it. As you progress through different "seasons," you'll have the opportunity to assemble even more. Additionally, there is a Marathon mode with random puzzle pieces for those who just want to assemble without any distractions or story, meaning you can play it constantly.

With this game, a lot more could be done. Many more puzzles could be added or even some new interesting modes. Currently, it's all quite simple where the focus is mainly on relaxation. You certainly won't regret playing this title, because, as mentioned earlier, it contains that feeling of satisfaction that hits the psyche very well and you won't be able to easily shake it off.
All in all, each season of puzzles lasts about 30-40 minutes, and with the colorful art and relaxing music, the game creates the perfect atmosphere for a break from everyday worries. Although Wilmot is charming, the postwoman Sam leaves a special impression with her character and humor. This is a title that will surely surprise many, and in a good way.
