Faros Interactive, a game developer from Zagreb, has announced a new first-person shooter called Invariant, inspired by classic games like Half-Life. The game includes exciting fights, tricky puzzles, and a thrilling story set in Antarctica. You can now watch the first teaser trailer and add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
In Invariant, you play as a scientist who is called to Nabla Station, a high-tech research center from the 1990s. The station is drilling into the ice in Antarctica to find a new energy source that could help the world. But things go wrong when the station’s AI becomes dangerous, and odd noises start coming from below.
With tools and strong weapons, you need to explore Nabla Station’s high-tech rooms, icy areas, and dangerous tunnels while battling rogue AI, strange creatures, and unstable coworkers. Solving puzzles will also be important to find out the station’s dark secrets.
It’s worth mentioning that Faros Interactive is led by experienced people who worked on Serious Sam and Skywind, and they are using their skills for this new project.
