Publisher Digerati and indie developer Victor Pouderoux have revealed that Lilac 0, a retro vertical shoot ’em up, will launch in early 2025 for PC via Steam. While a specific release date hasn’t been confirmed, you can now enjoy a new trailer showcasing the game’s pixel art and intense gameplay.
Set in the chaotic machine world of Molybdion, Lilac 0 throws you into a fast-paced battle against endless waves of metallic enemies. As the planet’s root is devoured by Nidhogg and machines wage war across land and sky, yiz must fight through five action-packed levels, face powerful bosses, and dodge streams of enemy fire.
The game offers two unique characters to suit different playstyles, three difficulty levels for players of all skill ranges, and a scoring system that rewards overkill tactics. Customization is a key feature, with eight color palettes to choose from, while the chiptune metal soundtrack by Withered Media enhances the classic arcade vibe.
