Developer perelesoq, known for Torn Away, has announced their latest project, Snow Town Geek Store. This narrative simulation game takes players back to the 2000s, where they will step into the role of a salesman in a retro-style geek store. Filled with the nostalgic energy of that era, the game will be available for PC via Steam, though its release date is yet to be revealed.

In Snow Town Geek Store, you play as a high school dropout who is trying to turn his life around. The main goal is to save enough money to give your hardworking mom a well-deserved vacation while also striving for a better future for yourself. To achieve this, you must sell a wide variety of classic geeky items, such as video game CDs like Half-Life and The Sims 2, movie discs featuring hits like Shrek, and snacks including Cheetos, beer, and Hubba Bubba gum.

Connecting with customers is an integral part of the gameplay. As the store’s salesman, you’ll chat with visitors to learn about their preferences, solve their problems, and decide how to handle each situation. Your choices will determine your shop’s reputation and influence your journey toward success. Along the way, you might even catch the attention of the mysterious emo girl if you play your cards right.

The game features a unique visual style that combines vibrant pixel art in third-person with first-person sections inspired by the 3D graphics of PlayStation 1 games. This blend of aesthetics perfectly captures the early 2000s vibe. The sound design also enhances the experience, taking cues from classic 8-bit games and the iconic The Sims series.
