Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Velan Studios have announced that the multiplayer first-person shooter Midnight Murder Club will be available in Early Access for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam starting March 13, 2025. Additionally, a special “Guest Pass Edition” has been introduced, allowing five friends to join the game for free.
Midnight Murder Club blends first-person shooting with party-style gameplay, offering an intense yet fun experience where six players hunt each other in total darkness within the eerie Wormwood Manor. Armed only with a revolver and a flashlight, you must navigate the pitch-black corridors, searching for any trace of light or sound that might reveal your target. The tension often turns into laughter as you struggle to move and shoot in complete darkness, leading to unexpected encounters and chaotic firefights.
Alongside existing modes such as Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters, Midnight Murder Club introduces a brand-new gameplay feature called Wildcards. In this mode, you use cards from your collection to alter the game’s rules in unpredictable ways. Whether it’s taking control of shop items, granting super speed to all players, or triggering explosions on death, Wildcards add a new layer of chaos to the game.
