Get ready to pounce into action, because Jumping Jazz Cats, the latest game from Montreal’s Le Catnip Collective and publisher Team17 Digital, has officially landed on Steam. This party title is purr-fect for game night, inviting anywhere from two to nine players to sprint, swing, and skid their way through a mansion filled with mini-games inspired by parkour.
In Jumping Jazz Cats, you and your friends become acrobatic cats, tearing through a mansion in six unique levels packed with chaotic objectives. You’ll play various mini-games which cleverly mix both teamwork and competition. Sometimes you’ll need to work together to clear a challenge, while other times you’re just racing to outscore everyone else. Adding to the fun are 10 original jazz tunes, the music’s choruses change up the gameplay.
Up to nine players can jump in online, and for those classic couch co-op sessions, you can have four cats playing at once on a local split-screen. If you’re flying solo, there’s a “Solo Trials” mode to help you sharpen your skills. You can mix and match levels, mini-games, and songs endlessly, making sure no two sessions ever feel the same.
