As every year, Infogamer once again offered plenty of exciting content, attracting visitors and giving them a chance to try out new games they might not normally play. The event featured recently released titles like Farming Simulator 2025, Undisputed, and Ubisoft’s Star Wars: Outlaws, alongside classic favorites such as Counter-Strike, Fortnite, and FIFA. This year, there were more play zones, a bigger main stage for tournaments, and an additional pavilion with a smaller stage for contests and presentations. The indie zone was also much larger, showcasing many new studios presenting their work to the public for the first time.

However, despite the wealth of content, the layout of the space was not impressive. The main stage sponsored by A1 was in the very center, while the most interesting attractions were located in the background. On the other hand, the periphery, with chairs, console and computer equipment, as well as booths with snacks and drinks, dominated the entrance area. The indie zone was isolated next to the VIP zone, and there was also a new additional pavilion, which is an upgrade compared to last year. The VR zone this year was not impressive, with the exception of Assassin’s Creed Nexus, which attracted some attention.

As for consoles, PlayStation did not disappoint this year. You could play titles like Astro Bot, Dragon Age: Veilguard, and the remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn, as well as a new LEGO title based on the same game. A big surprise was the presentation of the PlayStation 5 Pro, and Stellar Blade, demonstrated on that hardware, truly looked very good. The question now is how much the human eye can recognize the difference between the regular and this new one.

Nintendo also had its moment, with booths to try out new Super Mario games, but the tradition of inaccessibility for yet-to-be-released titles remained unchanged. On the other hand, Xbox was almost unnoticeable, which is disappointing considering last year's presentation of Starfield and the Game Pass collection. However, there was a special area dedicated to Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and a few "smaller" titles. Among the more well-known studios, only Raw Fury had something to show through its new games, but since those titles are already available through demo versions, you didn't really miss much.

From Indie games, titles such as Cave Hikers, A BYTE WAR, Tea for Sana, Go Home Annie (which we expect to be released very soon), Zero Space, Hades Apprentice, From Basement With Love, and Swords & Hexes have particularly caught our attention. Among the twenty or so available games, most of them are likely new and unknown to the wider audience. Interestingly, as reported by Reboot itself, as much as 60% of the studios were completely new, previously unseen on the scene. CGDA also impressed with its catalog, but their corner was quite small and cramped, which somewhat diminished the experience.

On the other hand, Carta Magica once again delighted, this time with even more giveaways and greater interest in TTRPG titles and other activities. The space was very dynamic, and an additional plus was the proximity of the refreshment area, although prices, as expected, were a topic to skip. The retro corner once again proved its popularity, always attracting all enthusiasts of older games.

For those who have not yet visited Infogamer, the opportunity lasts until Sunday. If you have time, we recommend visiting it, even if the entire event is not on par with the largest world fairs, it is always interesting to try something new. For us, for example, the new Just Dance title was particularly fun, which gets better year after year. You have nothing to lose, and you might discover your new favorite game.
