The IndieCade Festival 2024 is just around the corner, set to take place from November 8th to 16th. This annual celebration of indie games is a must-attend for game enthusiasts and creators alike, offering a chance to discover, play, and engage with some of the most innovative indie games of the year.
This year’s festival will showcase nominated games and titles from the IndieCade community. Participants can expect demos, live-streams, developer conversations, and the opportunity to connect directly with the creators behind the games. All of these activities will be available online, and many of the games can be played through Steam during the festival.
Award Categories
Each nominated game is eligible for awards in categories such as:
- Grand Jury Award
- Innovation in Interaction Design Award
- Developers Choice Award
Spotlight awards will also be given in categories like Narrative, Performance, Audio Design, and Tabletop Design. Games nominated for these special recognitions include The Crush House, Goodbye Seoul, Everdeep Aurora, Balatro, and many more.
