HypeTrain Digital has announced Pathologic 3, the long-awaited sequel to the cult series Pathologic. Scheduled for release in 2025, Pathologic 3 will expand on the core concepts and introduce new gameplay mechanics that bring fresh perspectives to the familiar story, both for seasoned players and newcomers.
In Pathologic 3, players will once again find themselves in a small, remote town afflicted by a mysterious and deadly disease. This time, you take on the role of the Bachelor, the town’s doctor known for his tireless fight against death. Summoned to the town by the deceased Isidor Burakh, the Bachelor must navigate a deep mystery while striving not only to save the town but also to conquer death itself.
For the first time in the Pathologic series, Pathologic 3 introduces time travel mechanics. This allows you to revisit key events and change them to your advantage. Although you have only 12 days to save the town, this innovative feature gives you the freedom to explore and influence events, reshaping the narrative development in ways that have not been possible before.
Pathologic 3 retains the recognizable first-person gameplay style and will offer a bleak atmosphere of a tormented world on the brink of collapse. Additionally, the game will be available on Steam.
