Developer LAVABIRD and publisher First Break Labs are gearing up for the release of Warside, an action-packed, turn-based tactics game coming in Spring 2025. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. A brand-new demo is now available on Steam, offering players an early look at the intense battles and strategic gameplay.
Warside puts you in command of powerful armies, featuring tanks, warships, helicopters, and jets as you fight across forest, desert, and icy battlefields. With 12 unique Commanders to choose from and more than 25 unit types, you can unleash devastating strategies to dominate their opponents. Each Commander brings a special Battle Power, such as Jackson’s EMP Blast to disable enemy vehicles, Beckett’s Orbital Strike for energy attacks from above, and Mordred’s Rage to turn enemies against each other.
The game offers a variety of modes, including a story-driven campaign, co-op missions, and competitive PvP. The new demo includes a five-mission mini-campaign showcasing never-before-seen air units like bombers and helicopters, along with Battle Powers. You can test your skills in different mission types, from capturing objectives to holding critical positions.
