Get ready for a spine-chilling adventure with Storebound, a co-op survival horror game where you and your friends must escape an endless, nightmarish store filled with lurking dangers. Developed by Embers and set to release on PC via Steam, Storebound has already gathered 30,000 wishlists in its first two weeks, while a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

In Storebound, you play as one of four ordinary shoppers who wake up trapped in an endless store. Your goal is simple: find the exit and escape before the store’s sinister “employees” catch you. Each run is different, with changing layouts, departments, threats, and item availability, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same.

The game can be played solo or with up to four players in online co-op. While escaping alone is possible, teamwork can greatly increase your chances of survival. Coordinate with your friends using proximity voice chat and walkie-talkies, but be careful, someone or something might be listening. Use tools like medkits, traps, and detectors to outsmart the employees and make your escape.

Storebound features a dynamic day-and-night cycle that adds tension and strategy to the gameplay. During opening hours, the store is lit, and you must explore, map your surroundings, and gather vital items before the lights go out. When the store closes, the employees roam freely, lurking in the shadows and hunting for intruders.
