At tinyBuild Connect, it was announced that the open-world extraction shooter SAND will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, alongside the previously announced PC version on Steam later this year. The new trailer highlights PvPvE combat and sets the stage for a desert-and-dune-filled adventure.
As a desert pirate, you explore the ravaged planet Sophie, where ruins of a lost civilization hide valuable loot. But you’re not alone, rival players and creatures lurk in the sands, ready to steal your plunder. Your lifeline is the Trampler, a giant mobile base you build from scratch. These massive machines serve as transport, storage, and a fortress, shielding you from storms and enemies. You can also upgrade your Trampler with turrets, armor, and gadgets.
In this open world, you’ll discover dilapidated cities, wrecked ships, and ancient monuments while scavenging for resources and weapons. tinyBuild promises intense shooting, chaotic moments as you hop between Tramplers, and large-scale battles against both players and creatures. As with extraction games, gathering loot is only half the challenge, escaping with it is also important.
