Oddshot Games, the indie studio renowned for their popular hockey game Slapshot: Rebound, is preparing to make waves with their upcoming free-to-play football title, Strikers Club. This physics-based game emphasizes skill over arcade mechanics and is slated for release on PC via Steam later this year.

Unlike typical arcade football games, Strikers Club focuses on precise control over every movement. Dribbling, positioning, and tactical decisions are crucial for success, with shooting mechanics requiring careful aiming. Players who prefer the goalkeeper role can experience specialized mechanics designed for goalies, with full support for both keyboard and controller inputs.

A standout feature of the game is the introduction of clubs, allowing players to create their own team or join an existing one. Club captains can personalize team colors and names, with future updates planned to include inter-club matches. Every victory on the field contributes to the club’s reputation.

Additionally, Strikers Club offers a realistic match flow with rules including throw-ins, corners, penalty kicks, and offsides. Players can engage in intense 1v1 duels or participate in large-scale 11v11 matches that emulate an authentic football experience. Beyond core mechanics, the game allows for player appearance customization, career statistics tracking, and detailed achievement analysis through a comprehensive profile system.
