Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have once again delayed the highly anticipated action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Originally announced for the first half of 2024, the game was later pushed back to 2025, and now it will finally be available in October. The reason for the delay is the studio’s commitment to further polishing the gameplay experience, even though the project is technically complete.
In an official video announcement, executive producer Marco Behrmann confirmed that the main development phase is finished, but the team is now focusing on bug fixes, stability optimization, and performance improvements. “We are currently working on fixes to ensure the highest-quality experience at launch,” Behrmann stated.
Beyond technical refinements, the game has also received additional narrative content and deeper character development. Over the past few months, the development team has regularly shared updates through a series of Dev Diary posts, highlighting key aspects of the vampire world, from factions like the Camarilla and Anarchs to the dangerous Hunters threatening vampire society.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
