1047 Games has just released a new video showcasing the first gameplay footage of Splitgate 2. The video gives fans a preview of the exciting new visuals and the updated combat system featuring all three game factions.
In Splitgate 2, players will choose from three distinct factions, each with unique abilities and playstyles. The video highlights these factions and their special skills:
- Aeros: Known for fast-paced action and slick movement, perfect for players who thrive in the thick of the fight.
- Meridian: Ideal for support players, with abilities to help and heal teammates.
- Sabrask: The toughest faction with strong offensive capabilities and effective area control.
The original Splitgate was a free-to-play first-person shooter released in 2019, featuring a unique portal-jumping mechanic. It started as a school project created in a student dorm room and eventually amassed over 22 million downloads on PC and consoles.
Splitgate 2 will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
