Billie Bust-Up unveiled a new trailer during this week’s Humble Games Showcase, giving us a glimpse of several minigames featured in the upcoming title. The game blends interactive musical elements with a 3D platformer, offering a unique twist on the genre. While there’s no confirmed release date yet, it will be available for PC via Steam.
In Billie Bust-Up, characters sing as they move through the world, whether in rhythmic sequences or boss battles set to villainous musical numbers. This approach, inspired by classic animated musicals, brings fresh energy to platformers while paying homage to Disney-style songs.
One of the reasons Billie Bust-Up has already gained popularity is its exceptional animation and music quality. Songs like “I’ve Had Enough of You,” and “The Pirate Queen’s Cave is the Worst” have drawn attention not only for their lyrics but also for their outstanding performances. The game’s music is composed by the renowned Daniel Ingram, best known for his work on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, with orchestration by Trevor Hoffmann.
Beyond its impressive soundtrack, Billie Bust-Up also boasts a top-tier voice cast. The lineup includes Michael Kovach, Ed Bosco, and Gabriel Brown, all known for their work on the pilot episode of Hazbin Hotel. Kovach, recognized for roles in The Amazing Digital Circus and Murder Drones, brings his charismatic voice to the main character, while Bosco and Brown add depth and charm to other key roles.
