The critically acclaimed story brought to us by Croteam and Devolver Digital continues in the game The Talos Principle 2. Announced during today's Devolver Direct presentation, the new expansion titled Road to Elysium is set to release on June 14th, taking us even deeper into the unique vision of a post-human future.
Earlier this year, a teaser trailer was shown, hinting that this expansion would indeed be revealed during Devolver Direct. The expansion consists of three unique chapters, each with its distinct look and feel. It will reunite you with beloved characters and test your puzzle-solving skills through a series of new, thought-provoking narratives. Following the events of The Talos Principle 2, Road to Elysium continues the evolution of the robotic world, offering a new perspective on key moments from the journey of the character 1K, and challenging you with new and familiar mechanics.
In the expansion, you'll explore the philosophy of love, death, and resurrection through the story of Hypatia and Sarabhai. Set in a beautiful environment inspired by ancient Egypt, these chapters challenge you to solve a series of complex, laser-based puzzles in unconventional ways. Additionally, you'll return to one of the most dramatic moments from The Talos Principle 2 and find out what happened to Byron when he was trapped in the Megastructure.
Road to Elysium will be available for €19.99 and releases on June 14th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
