Studio 5PM announced Memoriapolis, an innovative strategic city-building simulation in which players form a flourishing metropolis through 2,500 years of history. The game will be available in Early Access via Steam later this year.
In Memoriapolis, players embark on a journey, turning a simple settler camp into a vast European metropolis. Decide carefully which buildings to keep and which to replace, establish a strategic city center, and weigh the benefits of merging historical periods with territorial expansion.
Build and develop your city through four different historical periods: Antiquity, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Age of Enlightenment. Each period brings with it unique architectural styles, challenges and opportunities. The location of each building affects urban dynamics, shaping the way your residents use and inhabit the city. Strategic planning is key to maximizing the limited space available.
Throughout the centuries, you will face key decisions that will shape the growth and development of your city. Clashes of cultures and the emergence of new political classes bring new challenges to your metropolis, while cultural factions play an important role in shaping the cityscape, from fueling political activity to defining different neighborhoods and their populations. With six key factions – manufacturing, military, religion, education, trade and politics – players are tasked with not only maintaining peace in the present, but also securing their legacy and power for the times to come.
