UK-based indie games publisher Team17 and developer, alongside developer Sassy Chap Games, has announced that their quirky sandbox dating sim, Date Everything!, will now launch in June 2025 for PC (via Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game, originally planned for a Valentine’s Day release in February, has been delayed to allow the team more time to polish the experience.

The new release date was revealed in a State of Build announcement trailer, where Lead Designer Ray Chase shared updates on the game’s development. The trailer showcased never-before-seen characters, unexpected discoveries during development, and a glimpse into the game’s current state.

Date Everything! is a one-of-a-kind dating sim that lets you explore a world where literally everything is dateable. Equipped with special “Dateviator” glasses, you can chat with and romance objects ranging from a laundry basket to the air itself. Each object has its own unique personality, story, and multiple endings, making every interaction a new adventure.

The delay to June 2025 allows the development team to refine the game and ensure it meets the high expectations of players. In the State of Build trailer, Ray Chase emphasized the team’s commitment to delivering a polished and memorable experience. The extra time will also allow the developers to add more content and surprises, making the wait worthwhile.
