Humorous Boxing Game Felt That: Boxing Was Announced, Currently Releasing Exclusively for PC

Just when we hoped Summer Game Fest 2025 couldn’t deliver something totally wild, unexpected, and unique, Felt That: Boxing took the stage. This “brawler” combines the charm of plush puppets with the fun of arcade boxing. Developed by Sans Strings Studio in collaboration with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, it’s currently a PC-exclusive title on Steam, requiring a controller, with no release date set and uncertainty about a console launch.

In Felt That: Boxing, you step into the gloves of Ezra “Fuzz-E” Wright, an unlikely hero and orphan. He enters the “Million Punch Tournament” to save his beloved puppet orphanage from a greedy developer. Despite lacking boxing talent and a legacy from his late father, a former boxer, Fuzz-E’s journey is a 12-hour tale of outsider resilience, filled with parody and surprising emotional depth.

Visually, the game blends a handmade puppet aesthetic inspired by stop-motion animation. Its retro charm, reminiscent of classic Nintendo Punch-Out!!, places you behind Fuzz-E’s back for a third-person ring view.

Timing, dodging punches, and chaotic super moves like “Furry Flurry” are key to victory. Each opponent brings unique fighting styles and stage hazards, while training mini-games, like cleaning toilets or dodging burnt toast—add a playful twist to skill development.
