Publisher 663 Games and developer Shadowlight Sanctuary have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming detective RPG Kill the Shadow. Set to launch on PC in late 2024, the game takes players into a dark, post-war city filled with mystery, danger, and tough decisions.
Kill the Shadow transports players to a divided city after a war, where gritty streets and eerie environments await. The game blends highly detailed 3D settings with charming 2D pixel art characters, giving the world of Darkwater a unique, haunting atmosphere. In this shadowy world, you’ll play as Detective Ah’Guang, a skilled investigator who must solve a series of strange murders across the city. You can use your intelligence and charm—or violence—to uncover evidence. Plus, Ah’Guang has the rare ability to rewind time, adding an exciting twist to solving these bizarre cases.
In the new gameplay trailer, we see Ah’Guang walking through Darkwater’s gritty streets, investigating crime scenes and talking to various characters. But the trailer also introduces a mysterious figure “The Shadow” a strange creature that follows the detective. The Shadow has the power to read memories and reconstruct scenes from the past, helping Ah’Guang solve the crimes.
