The roguelike title Dicealot, inspired by Arthurian legends, offers a unique blend of strategic gameplay and dice-building mechanics. You take on the role of Queen Guinevere, who must save King Arthur from a mysterious evil. The core gameplay revolves around rolling dice to create powerful combinations, earn points, and unlock magical “Quest-Dice” that enhance abilities and aid in battles against enemies.
Unlike traditional deck-building games, Dicealot replaces cards with dice, where each roll carries risk, you can score big with combos or lose everything if you hit a “farkle” (a roll without scoring). The game’s roguelike elements, including permadeath and procedurally generated levels, require adaptability and strategic thinking.
Set in the world of Camelot, it also features a variety of legendary enemies, from knights and wizards to mythical threats. Visually, Dicealot embraces a 2D medieval art style, with a charming yet challenging tone that maintains a balance between accessibility and depth.
While there is no official release date yet, Dicealot will be available for PC via Steam.
