Last night marked the end of another THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, which was somewhat smaller this year compared to previous ones. However, we finally got the first gameplay trailer for Titan Quest II, showcasing the familiar top-down action similar to the original game’s Diablo-inspired formula. The trailer featured a battle against a giant boss and emphasized collectible loot.
Titan Quest II takes you back to the mythological realm of ancient Greece, where you will face unimaginable challenges and combine various masteries to create unique and powerful characters. Your ultimate goal is to stop Nemesis, the goddess of revenge herself.
While the sequel will remain faithful to its predecessor without major changes to the core formula, it introduces a significant overhaul of the skill system. From now on, you will be able to combine skills to create unique skill sets. All skills can now be modified and upgraded, bringing more RPG customization.
Titan Quest II will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms at a yet-to-be-determined date.
