Team17 Digital and developer Sassy Chap Games have officially announced the release date for their sandbox dating simulator Date Everything!. The game will launch on June 17, 2025, for PC via Steam, as well as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Although initially planned for a Valentine’s Day release, unexpected circumstances led to a delay. In this world, love truly knows no bounds.
Using special “Dateviator” goggles, the game lets players engage in romantic interactions with a wide range of objects and phenomena, from an ordinary laundry basket to the air itself. Each of the 100 fully voiced “characters” has a distinct personality, a unique romantic storyline, and multiple endings based on your dialogue choices.
Exploration in this quirky universe is supported by over 11,000 hand-drawn illustrations, 1.2 million words of dialogue, and 70,000 voice lines. The dynamic 3D world responds to your decisions, while the original soundtrack features more than four hours of emotional music.
The project features a star-studded voice cast, including Troy Baker (Indiana Jones and The Great Circle), Felicia Day (Supernatural), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI), Matt Mercer (Critical Role), Laura Bailey (The Last of Us Part II), and Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3). A physical edition for all platforms is also planned, with details to be shared soon via the publisher’s official website.
